About the Practice

Neuro-Affirming Clinical Expertise

MSP is a neuroaffirming online telehealth practice focused on helping adults seeking an ADHD diagnostic assessment or looking to explore their neurotype. Our founder, Marlese Dzesa, is a registered forensic psychologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. The practice is rooted in lived experience, providing a supportive and empathetic environment for all clients.

Marlese has a strong interest in conducting adult ADHD assessments and guiding individuals through the complex emotions that often accompany a late-life diagnosis. For many, this experience can evoke a range of responses, including relief, grief, validation, and self-reflection. Marlese offers a warm and supportive space to help clients make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and build confidence.

She works with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or burnout, providing them with practical tools to understand and embrace their neurodivergence. Her approach is collaborative and strengths-based, helping clients develop emotional regulation skills, improve their self-worth, and strengthen interpersonal relationships.

In her practice, Marlese utilises a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including ACT, DBT, CBT and Schema Therapy. She tailors her approach to each individual, recognising that no two neurodivergent experiences are the same. With a diverse professional background, Marlese is dedicated to creating a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward with greater self-compassion.

My therapeutic approach is firmly based in neuro-affirmative practice. I see neurodivergence as a natural and valuable part of the human experience, not something that needs to be 'fixed'. Instead of just focusing on symptoms, we consider the whole person, taking into account their sensory profile, processing style, and the rich internal world that shapes their identity and experiences.
